I'm Matt (cainrod), and this is my personal development site. I've been a software engineer for over a decade now, with a mix of both front- and back-end development experience. I've been interested in game development from a young age, and starting this year I want to make a more concerted effort in completing some design projects.

With that in mind, I am creating this site as a record of my accomplishments. I want to grow my front end abilities by building and mainting this site myself, and I want to reduce my dependence on third party platforms to promote my work. I want a space that is owned by me, where I can share the things I'm passionate about. And I want something that I can look back on and observe my progress, something to keep me moving forward and focused.
